Stripe Connect Express. You're the merchant of record. Buyers' money goes straight to your Stripe balance and Stripe pays out to your bank daily (default) or on your chosen schedule. We never touch your money.

Stripe Tax integration is on for all paid plans — it auto-computes US sales tax, EU/UK VAT, GST etc. at checkout. You still file returns; we collect the right amount.

Disputes flow through Stripe like any other Stripe Connect business. We surface dispute alerts in your Admin Console and you respond via the Stripe dashboard with full evidence support.

Yes — ShopCart sells anything. Every product can be physical (with inventory, shipping weight + dimensions, production time, color/material variants), digital (instant secure download), a service, a subscription, or a bundle of any of those.

Yes. No credit card, no trial expiry. You get a hosted storefront, up to 50 products, Stripe checkout, abandoned-cart recovery, built-in CRM, and 1 active A/B test. Upgrade when (or if) you outgrow it.

0% on every plan — we take nothing on top of your sales. You pay only Stripe's standard processing (2.9% + 30¢ in the US, varies by country) directly to Stripe. Your monthly or annual ShopCart subscription is the only fee you pay us.

We issue refunds as account credit applied automatically to your next invoice. Cleaner books, faster than a card refund (which takes 5-10 business days to settle). If you cancel entirely with unused credit, we work out a card refund case-by-case.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with proration. Downgrades take effect at the next billing anchor so you keep what you paid for.

No. You retain full ownership of your products, files, and customer data. You can export everything at any time. If you cancel, you get a 90-day grace period to export before data is purged.

Your database lives in US-East (Virginia). Files are on Cloudflare R2 with global edge caching. Stripe stores payment data in their own PCI-compliant environment.
